Dr. Claude Flueckiger is the owner of Flueckiger Consulting and a senior executive with more than 40 years of global experience in crop protection and seeds. His career spans technical and commercial leadership, innovation, R&D, product management, marketing, business strategy, and mergers and acquisitions across crop, environmental solutions, and non-crop markets.
He held senior leadership positions at the global level and in the United States and Europe with leading companies including Syngenta, Novartis, and Ciba. Among his key achievements, he developed and led the initial global commercialization of one of Syngenta’s largest blockbuster insecticides and led major innovations in both chemical and biological crop protection from development through successful commercialization. He also led Syngenta’s first global specialty crops team, shaping strategy across seeds and crop protection.
Most recently at Syngenta, he served as Global R&D Leader for Crop Protection in the Lawn & Garden businesses, with responsibility for both chemical products and biologicals.
Claude earned his PhD in Entomology from ETH Zurich. Today, through Flueckiger Consulting, he advises private equity firms and other investment clients on opportunities in agriculture and environmental solutions, combining executive leadership, scientific expertise, commercial experience, and M&A insight.
